Way Huge Supa-Puss vs Disaster Transport

I know one is (mostly) an analog delay and the Disaster Transport isn't... I like the modulation on both and I'm really wanting an analog delay for those dirty repeats... but what is the general opinion between the two? My other option was the Empress Tape Delay but it got cut from the list as my 3rd fab. Any people with first hand experience please feel free to give me your opinions on the two

The Supu-Puss is unapologetically analog in it's repeats. One of the faults I found with the DMMTT1100 was that it was too clean.

The Supa is a great delay.

I had the supa...didn't really bond with it.

The Aqua is great, the supa, not as much.

For just a little more cash I went for the El Capistan.

I didn't find the modulation all that great and dirt section didn't do much for me. The chase function is kind of silly, I couldn't find a use for it.

For what it's worth...I've owned the the Aqua and the Carbon copy and a couple other way huge pedals and i generally really like them.

I had the empress super delay vm...what a great delay pedal. It beat just about everything except for the tape emulation, the el cap does tape better IMO and that's the delay I prefer the most. I'm pretty sure the empress tape delay is taken from the super delay.

Having owned both for a significant portion of time, I can easily say that I like the Supapuss better, but both are killer delays.

The DT has a cooler modulation, but the Supapuss sounds better overall and has way more in the way of options (and tap!) Gotta be aware how interactive the gain and mix knobs are. They have a huge effect on one another.

I'm not big on the El Cap... just doesn't tickle my fancy. I'm definitely leaning towards the Supa Puss but opinions seem to vary unit to unit... I think I'll go ahead and spring for a used Supa and then if I don't like it I'll flip it. Either online or locally. The supapuss just seems to be another brush I can utilize along with my other tools to paint the big picture in my sounds. I love the dirt!

It doesn't get more analog sounding than a Supa Puss. Beautiful modulation plus tap, tone, subdivisions and gain controls.

Get the new version...I think v1 had issues with volume dropping or something.

I heard that. I have an earlier version, but mine actually has a slight boost with the mix below 9 o' clock. No problem with that though.
