Talk about having relaxed view towards gear. One guitar, a bag of pedals and no backups. :)

Looks like this is around the same time. Can't argue with the results, he plays and sounds great!

Interesting! Thanks very much for posting. Always a work in progress, that guy -- which I mean in the most respectful possible way.

Can someone tell what Suhr model that is? Classic Antique maybe?

It does look like a classic antique. "Roasted" maple neck, light relic. Damned nice guitars.

Try messaging him if you need the specific model name. He listed some of the particular specs, like pickups, which I thought was even more helpful.

Does anyone know why he stopped using the big Moog ring mod?

Not sure, but I wouldn't doubt the size had something to do with it.

Thanks for posting this. Wayne Krantz is one of my favorite Jazz guitar players, period.

I probably should have come away from watching that with more inspiration to make the current gear I have work, but instead it made me really want a Suhr. :D

    Looks great, John.

Standard production specs given the Classic Antique series of needing a custom order?

He talks about it around the 15:22 mark on the video.

HAHA! He is great! The take away is: Never A-B anything and you won't know the difference and you'll make it work!!
I've seen him with a Suhr a while back on a Chris Potter video. I like his sound no matter what he's using.
