Search the site, there was another thread on this topic. Some felt they sounded real close of better, weight was a plus, cost was a minus. good luck, I'd like to hear them (but I'm not ready to give up my Cali's yet!).

Love mine! I've got a 2x12 and 1x15 cab with Weber NeoMags.

Sound so close to the D120f/D130fs and so light!

Hi Strumminsix, thanks for your input. I am hoping you and others might offer some more details on the sound of the Neomags - overdriven and clean. I am considering one for a ToneKing Comet combo. Which is basically an amp with a blackface DR side and a tweed side. Now I have an Emi RW&B which is the best match I`ve found so far after trying a few different speakers. But I keep thinking about the sound of JBL`s..

I tried the Weber NeoMags in a Twin Reverb, they were nice but not quite the sound of a JBL, so I sold them and put in two Eminence Tonkerlite's and the amp came alive. Now the Twin weighs ~50 lbs and sounds killer!
