Weight of Echo Park?

I just received a new Echo Park that I got off of evilbay. It seems at least a third lighter than my other ToneCore pedals (Verbzilla, RotoMachine, LiquaFlange). Anyone have a clue about this?

Haven't plugged it in yet to test, but just seems odd.

The original ToneCores were made of Zink (to my displeasure, but that’s another story)… They were supposed to be aluminum… to make a long story short, sometime in late 2006, Line 6 made the switch over to aluminum which reduces the weight by about a pound!

O.K., that's it right there. Thanks a lot. It was just weird.

I think I prefer the heavier ones, though. lol. Probably if my others were aluminum ones, though, I'd like lighter ones, go figure.

Bottom line is tone. Gotta get to hooking it up!

MR. Huge:
If one were to purchase a used Echo Park over the internet- is there a way to determine (by serial number perhaps) if it's a light or heavy one?

I think I got a heavy one. It's a freakin brick. I wish I could trade someone for a lighter one.... (hint, hint) ;)
