All in about 2 hours or so. I have guitars sprinkled around the house, and miraculously I had some time to play this combination today in the studio.

Love them all! Vastly different necks, pickups, scale length with the PRS. Played them through an Ethos into a Two Notes Torpedo into a G Major 2 for reverb only. This amplification setup also does very well with my various jazz archtops and my Taylor 814CE. No tubes sacrificed today!

I'm a lucky dude, or rather an old fart. My point being, don't get locked into fat neck hype, must have custom shop this etc. Go with what works for you.

I love my $415 Epiphone ES-339. Seriously. This coming from an R9 owner.

"Oh I can't stand skinny necks, ya di ya da...."

Those people who equate a fat neck with somehow being more "guitar macho".

    Those people.

I like fat ones, skinny ones, and medium ones. As long as it is done well.

My best archtop has the neck from a Super 400.

Not that I'm special, but most big jazz archtops sport the fatest necks around.

I'm happy with a good SG or PRS Wide-thin too. Good necks is good necks.

A good neck is the one that fits you.

Sort of like waist sizes. Everything bigger than what I need, "fits"!
