wet/dry rig with an acoustic amp

has anyone tried a wet/dry rig with an acoustic amplifier? for example 50Watter attenuated - line out from the attenuator to the acoustic amp with built in fx (reverb/delay). or do you think the acoustic amp can´t handle the hot signal from the line out of an attenuator...

I would expect an acoustic amp to handle a line level but I'd be looking to confirm it. Acoustic guitars have "preamps" in them so it should be allowing for a hot signal somewhere. I think it could be a nice way to do a wet/dry setup since you often don't want the wet amp adding it's own agenda to the tone beyond whatever effects it may offer.

thanks mate. well yes - this was my idea... a good acoustic amp has good and neutral speakers and good reverb and delay... they are also very compact and light... hmm...
