1. The Gear Page is run by musicians for musicians. We listen, we learn and if we misstep we are not afraid to do the right thing. We proposed some changes to the Emporiums. Based on feedback from members, we have decided to not go ahead with those changes. However, it has also highlighted that we need some community input into what is working and what is not working for members here. Primarily focused on the Emporiums, we'd like input on your thoughts about TGP and how things work in the Emporiums for you and how you'd improve them. The discussion thread on the is here!

    Is it a univibe?

Very subtle, but a cool sound.

Seen the version on the original G3 DVD? It SLAYS the recorded version and his tone is monstrous! :dude

I seem to recall it being more of a chorus + delay type setup on the cleans, rather than a 'wooshy' univibe.

    I've watched EJ's section of G3 about 100 times. :)

I don't have, nor have I played, a vibe pedal so I was guessing....

It's not a typical chorus sound, so I was interested how he achieved it.

Same here.. I think its just bloody good Fender amps, well mastered. maybe a little touch of chorus in the studio.. and of course EJ is THE tone freak..

EP-3--> TC chorus split stereo to 2 deluxes on the G3 video.

Love the 335 on the encore!

Sounds like a Lexicon to me. He's widely known for using PCMs in the studio.

The slightly wobly sound might be the Echoplex. If you get a chance to play an old one you will notice it, tube or solidstate model doesn't matter.

The Echoplex is key. Also note: Eric often uses some of the amp vibrato on his Fenders in addition to the echo and chorusing.
