You guys see that note on the "reaper"? Things are lookin good if they could emulate a well broken in g12h30. I've said it before i'll say it again.. these speakers have great bottom end but are a b_tch to break in! We'll see how these fare.

Not that i know of but props for WGS for following up on what they said they would do so i suspect that the g12-65 will be next. I listened to the sound clip of the reaper and i gotta say i kinda dug it.

My GreenBeret (G12M clone) is an excellent speaker & I'm hard to please.

Anyone tried their Veteran 30 (Vintage 30 clone)?

Yeah, i hated the v30 clone.. too thin for me. But again, this is a common complaint about v30's too so i said they did a good job cloning it! :)

I thought the the same thing till I mixed 'em with some 12-75's. Problem solved.

Yeah the splawn folk tend to mix those 75's with g12h30's so i could see that pairing working as well. Mixing them with greenbacks is supposed to be the cat's @ss but i kept hearing that spike so i went back to RI greenbacks + 2 sammi 50 watters.

    i like the wgs stuff

i like to mix em up with other speaker brands though.

dont really like em on their own.

    ex.

classic 80 mixed with celesion 30 very nice.

veteran 30 mixed with real celestion 80 very nice.

veteran 30 mixed with classic 80, no so nice,, i dont know why!:crazy
