Whammy or Harmonist Pedal Placement On Board?

Wondering where on my board I should put my Harmonist PS6?

I want to use both the whammy and harmony functions.

Do they do better before or after wah, drive, chorus, delay?

I have the PS-5.
I think there was something in the manual about it "preferring" a clean signal.

So, I put it AFTER my dirt pedals

Works great for me there.
But I usually play it clean, or with heavy fuzz.

I'd also try moving it around in the chain to see where it actually sounds better to you. There is no right and wrong.

Maybe plugging it in backwards yields a result we've never heard.

Works with a wah pedal.

Digital pedals probably don't work the same...

The glitchy loveliness of the whammy isn't fully realized unless it's placed after distortion (ie: in the effects loop) in my opinion.

Whammy right after dirt for me.

Try both and pick the location you like best.

..but think we're probably all in agreement that you always put whammy BEFORE delay.

Update: Thanks the all the suggestions. I am putting it before the dirt because after there is a volume drop with the whammy.
