Im looking for a new amp. Something that has a great clean channel that is not similar to a vintage Marshall or Fender. Something new and intriguing. Willing to look at anything price wise.

Im looking for something that has a fat yet articulate tone.

I'd look at the Vox HW line. Either an AC15 or AC30 depending on how much headroom/volume you want.

You want a bc audio amp. I just got an amp #7 and can't believe how good it sounds. If people knew what they were missing the builder wouldn't be able to keep up with the demand. Bruce is very proud of the fact these are unique "non clone" amps. I love his modo "these amps aren't meant to be something to everyone, but everything to someone." That's exactly what it is to me. I've owned way too many amps over the years and tried practically all of the big name boutique builders. I've never been so inspired to play before I got this amp. In going to couple it with the new Fryette Power Station to overcome the volume limitations of a low watt Non Master Volume amp. I am very confident that this rig will about as good as has ever been and possibly might ever be. Look them up, bc audio. These are the real thing!!!

Mad Professor CS-40 or Old School 21 perhaps?

I don't own one but have played an Old School 21, and to my ears it fits your description perfectly. Plus it is new and different, not everybody has one.

Tone King Sky King in ultralinear mode. It's got a thicker, chewier thing going on than a Fender.

Dr Z Maz also had great cleans and its own Fender/Vox hybrid thing.

Channel 2 is a new level of clean to me. Channel 1 is more matchless meets blackface, or tweed with the tone stack out.

Supro or Magnatone! just got a Supro Thunderbolt reissue and love it (especially after speaker break in) but the Magnatones also seem like beautiful amps, especially with True Vibrato, Tremolo, and Reverb on deck....
