    Sounds familiar somehow. Has this piece been used in a movie, tv show etc...?

    Not that I know of. On reading up on it, it appears that it wasn’t actually composed by him. A man, Remo Giazotto, who was an expert on his music may have written it as a hoax. Whoever wrote it, it’s a beautiful piece of music.

    songs are always playing in my head, you know how they appear unbidden, I love that, it's silent around me but internally I'm just rocking away ... last night's manifestation was strong and it continued into the morning:

    favorite thing I actually heard on a stereo yesterday was Misty Mountain Hop .... 48 years later and it still drives me quite insane
