In other words, if you are happy with your rig, are there other amps out there that you think would be cool to try out if you just happened to find one at a good price?

    Mine is a short list:

    Dr. Z Stingray
    Dr. Z Mazeratti GT
    Hiwatt Lead 30
    Hiwatt DR201
    Marshall Major
    Vox AC15
Mesa Lonestar special ( just snagged one )

Either a Champ or another Musicmaster bass amp. I had and sold a MM and miss it. It recorded like a monster with no fuss. I'm happy with my JCM 800 but it's a beast and things have to be just right when recoding it... including volume.

Otherwise, my brother has taken up amp building and some of his creations are pretty interesting. I might have him build me a Plexi with some tweeks.

Thrilled with my rig but if I ever find a steal of a price I'll jump:

    Marshall JMP-1
    CAA 3+
    Bogner Fish
    VHT GP3

Very happy with my amps now (Mesa Stiletto Ace and Budda SD18) but if I was shopping I'd seriously consider...

    Mesa Lonestar Special
    Rivera Venus 6

    Bogner Duende (newest version)

I play one every time I go to the Bogner Dealer. Great clean tone, I haven't got to try the OD or series sounds yet.

The ones at home now are really doing it, but thoughts of these won't go:

    Sommatone Roaring 40
    Sewell Texaverb 45
    Pro Reverb
    Gibson GA-77

Guess I'm just an old fenders kind of guy

    showman
    dual showman
    dual showman w/reverb
    tweed harvard
tweed lo-power twin reissue (probably my most sought after)
    1x15 cab with JBL D130
I might consider bassman heads, and showmaster heads, too.

I would also consider a '67 Marshall JTM 50 watt transitional tube rectified head like the one I used to have. Pretty much the only marshall, asides from the nearly unobtainable '66 JTM 45/100.

I'd like an early 80's (blackfaced, late model) 'Silver'face Fender Pro Reverb. They are probably bottom of the Pro Reverb desirability list, I know, but I played one a few weeks ago and everything about it was excellent. I'd also like a Two Rock Jet.

I know which one I'm actually likely to end up with... ;)

I'd love to try a Louis KR12. Probably the only amp I'd like to try that I haven't already. Now amps I'd like to BUILD - Blonde Bassman 6G6-B, Princeton reverb, and maybe even one of those Mojo Roccaforte heads. But I'm not in a hurry.

    ceriatone 'hendrix' kt66 marshall 100

I really really want a Reeves custom 100 in white. Like really badly.

I won't be able to afford that until after college unfortunately.
