    Hi,

I plan to buy these monitors but don't know what cables I need to plug them to my M-Audio Fast Track Pro sound board.

The M-Audio has TRS output and RCA output.

Could you please advise me? Thank you for your time.

TRS to XLR - a pair of 'em.

I'd just get something in the "decent" range - I wouldn't spring for the $50-$100+ cables for those monitors. Those are "entry level studio monitors", right? So that's the type of cable you need. And I'm not saying that to be disparaging so I hope you don't take offense! It's just that monitors range from $100 per pair to $30000 per pair...

The 1/4" end of the cable you asked about is Tip/Sleeve only which means it is not balanced (even though it has an XLR on the other end).

Make sure the 1/4" end has a Tip/Ring/Sleeve connector (T/R/S)!
