What color is my Les Paul?

This is my Epiphone Les Paul Plus Top Pro Limited Edition Ccustom Shop that I bought on 9-11-13. There was a huge mixup in the purchase of this guitar at GC, and I ended up getting it with a roadrunner hardshell case for $314.28 out the door. Nothing in the computer was right for this guitar, wrong, color. Wrong serial number etc,. The tag said it was a desert burst, but the salesman saud it was an ice tea burst.. my question is, what is it? Desert, ice tea or something else. I love this guitar and no matter what the color is, it doesn't affect my appreciation of it. The serial number says it was made in the quingdao factory in April of 2013. It has received a pro set up and this thing plays and sounds far beyond its price and logo.
Just curious, because everything I see online for desert burst doesn't look like this, the desert bursts in see are more brown around the edges, this more reddish/orange/dark amber.

It looks very much like my 2002 light burst standard.

???

I just played my Gibson 2002 light burst standard last night and it looks nothing like it.

I'd say iced tea. Is the back red or black? iced tea would have a red back, desert burst would be real dark to solid black.

Go look up some desert burst LP's on ebay

Thanks. I'll take some better photos today, i'll put it on a stand in the sun. The back and sides are a reddish color, definitely not dark or black. I'm gonna this out of the case most of the day today, so might a sell get some photos while I'm at it. Somedays this guitar spends its time making brutal high gain sounds, today it will be making delicate clean jazzy sounds.. :-D
So far it looks like it could be antique burst, ice tea burst, or heritage cherry sunburst. I wish the serial would tell you the color, but the sites I've found only tell you the place of manufacture, and the month and year it was made, unless there's a site I'm not aware of.

Here are some better photos of it. I'm still perplexed as to what color this really is. It is a Custom Shop Limited Edition, which from my research usually mean unique limited colors for specific retailers. But who knows. I do know that I dig it though. :JAM

The 2013 Plus Top Pro color choices are listed here: http://www.epiphone.com/Products/Les-Paul/Les-Paul-Standard-Plustop-PRO.aspx

Yours looks different from all of them, and I like it better!
Thanks? :) me too, it doesn't quite match up to any of them in the site or any others I've seen online.
Dereksslide. When you refer the red, are you talking about red on the outer edges of the burst? It is kind of reddish/orangish/amber burnt color toward the outer parts of the burst. I've looked high and low and can't find one like it online, the desert bursts I see all look like they have a brown color at the outer parts of the burst. Is the back and necks on desert bursts dark brown/black or red like mine?

Yeah, the edges of the guitar. I suppose they could be red, you do get red sand, but the ones I've seen tended to be brown.

I still think it's a desertburst though. Tell you what, fly me over to SD, put me up in the Coronado and lend it to me for a month and I'll be able to give you a better opinion :D

Lol.. sounds like a plan.. I'll pay the airfare of course.. :-D
I've read that there is a difference between Gibson and epiphone desert bursts as far as color goes, the Gibson ones look really dark brown to me. But on epiphines website, the desert also looks brownish. Mine has zero brown in it anywhere. I'll just call it a happy burst, care it makes me happy. All I know is that this thing plays like butter, and the probucker pickups are way better sounding than I ever expected, epi did it right with those pickups. Now the hard part is deciding whether to play this or my new PRS SE Mahoney I just got last week.. decisions, decisions.. :)
