CHECK THIS OUT!
Wow.The price is over 10K and the reserve is not met.
I played in a band in Germany during the early 90's and the other guitar player had a '85 and a '86 PRS.
They were really good guitars.
At that time I got the only PRS I've ever owned.
It was an early bolt on with the three staggard single coils.
I don't know much of the PRS history.
Is the one in the auction made by Paul or is it a factory build?
i don't know, i was hoping to get some info here???
i have a friend that has an early PRS too.
this is a nice one for sure
It's a regular factory guitar from the first year of production.
I had an identical one that I sold a little over a year ago for about $13k. It was within 10-digits of this one and had a top that was just as nice. You do see dealers advertising them for $17k-$22k but that is not a realistic price IMO. Of course on ebay anything can happen.
I had many, many tire kickers and people that wanted to trade. When it comes to putting cash on the table the market thins out.
For a reserve of over $10'000 I'd expect better pics.
I own a rare minty 85' PRS Custom that I have no intention of selling but it is interesting what these are fetching these days.
an emotional seller.
wow that is a lot of coin!!!!
