what guitar does this cake guitar player play? (gibson semi)

    I'm guessing here but I'll say Chet Atkins Country Gentleman with a changed pickguard.

    Great driving bass in that band too. Never seen 'em live but they sound great on record.

    I think so too, note the fret markers along the upper edge of the fretboard.
