I love most guitars and some more than others but there have also been guitars that I strongly disliked. For me it has been teles and les pauls. I simply find both of the bodies bulky, clumsy, and uncomfortable. I guess you could say that I don't necessarily hate those two guitars, I dislike holding them. What about you?

I am not a 335 guy. Just never could make their sound or feel work for me.

That Dean headstock does it for me. I know and accept that it’s shallow of me, but if I never own a Dean, this will be why.

Not a fan of big acoustics. I’m a little guy, and they just feel way too big standing or sitting.

Anything pointy, especially if it also has a Floyd on it.

I disliked my first electric, an SG jr., quite a bit. Bendy neck, just never felt right.

The much vaunted Rickenbacker bass. It never felt balanced to me, the controls were counter intuitive, it sounded too intrinsically thin requiring EQ compensation and every angled surface seemed to be trying to hurt you. Not for me.

    None I strongly dislike.

There are some I'm not interested in.

Epi SG with the school-bus roof frets... loved the looks, hated how it played...

I hate that headstock. I guess they want it to be gaudy and weird, but I’ll never own a Dean because of it.

Just can't get the feel for their necks.
Not a strong dislike, just a permanent disinterest. (and I own a Strat only because my brother gave it to me for my birthday years ago. It sits in the closet)

My old girlfriend had a Jackson Dinky that I hated playing. I can't stand FR bridges and the neck was uncomfortably thin. I guess I just don't like pointy shredder guitars. I also can't get along with thin/narrow necks like the Rickenbackers. Otherwise I can play just about anything and enjoy something out of it.

I have to agree with you on that one. Dean in general makes some really tacky designs. They did make a guitar in the early 2000s that had a PRS look. That was a good looking guitar but in. But in general their designs don’t do it for me.

Yep. And it’s not that I dislike tacky or pointy...my first guitar was a B.C. Rich Ironbird! :hide2

Any guitar string with 8s and certain Guitars strung with 9s .... guitars with such low action they buzz without a light touch.

I recently played a bootlegger(never heard of this brand) t-type that was like 16lbs that guitar sucked because of the weight and the action was too low or strings were too light. Buzzy.... didn’t like it.

    Most things I like....

Neck through body guitars, that’s all I ever wanted wanted when I was younger B.C. Rich, Jackson etc. Once I finally got one I hated it. Now I have a bolt on Suhr and set neck PRS and couldn’t be happier.

I'm not a fan of neck-through guitars either. They just don't seem to have a nice resonance - they seem very flat to me.

I HATE a neck heavy guitar. I returned a *smokin'* PRS Mira because of the neck dive. I just couldn't deal with it.
