What if Master of Puppets had the St. Anger snare sound?

Have you ever wondered how Master of Puppets would sound if it were mixed with the rather...uh...distinct snare sound from St. Anger?

    Wonder no more...

LOL... that's brutal (and hilarious). Snare sound aside, I actually do like a bunch of tracks from St. Anger.

Even with some idea of what it would entail, I did not fully expect just how awful that would sound.

I think that's about as far as I made it, too.

    Don't give Lars any ideas.

I remember hearing St. Anger and wondering if they recorded it on an 80's boom box.

Still sounds better than the overall snare sound on St Anger. :)

It's worth sticking around for the chorus...it's especially awful/funny on the chorus.

Metallica's stuff is bad enough as it is. No need to remix the garbage to make a point, IMO.
