Yeah, that's exactly right. If you want a bit more on the overdrive side, the TightDrive Pro would be the way to go. Gainier? BigRock Pro.
Well, the light to medium I like the tone of the Morning Glory, for heavier stuff I like the sound of Marshall distortion side of the tone.
You know, if you like the Morning Glory, which is based on the Marshall Blues Breaker, it might be worth checking into the Snouse line of pedals. I wonder if their BlueLine Professional might get the job done for you. Currently on sale for $188. (No affiliation.)
Lots of pedal for the money, it would seem, and the few reviews I've seen here have raved about it. Seems to be in the running for best Bluesbreaker variant, and this one does a bunch of stuff the original doesn't.
And even though they're expensive and take forever to get, I wonder if the King of Tone by Analogman should be on your list, too.
How about a RAT?
Thanks, added to the list, currently 9 months wait so....that's Christmas present for 2015 !
How much will it be btw? $300/$350?
$230 i believe
Same as the Elements, not that bad !
Yeah, they sell for $300 to 350 on the secondary market
I hear great things about the wave cannon, but haven't actually tried one myself.
The Elements is great if you want a wide range of sounds. Great pedal, and probably one of the best looking pedals, too!
Wampler Dual Fusion. Two very distinct voices that stack very well. It may take a bit of time tweaking, but you can get a three very usable tones out of one pedal.
What about JHS Sweet Tea? It has the Plexi tone on Angry Charlie, how does it stack?
