Coverdale-Page, Jimmy Page & The Black Crowes are great.
The first Firm album is great.
Death Wish 2 soundtrack has some interesting stuff that he performed live during his 1988 Outrider tour.
His songs on Robert Pant's album Now and Zen have some good work.
Outrider as an album is very uneven.
I say this as a Page fanatic.
I've been intrigued by this evocative scene from the IMGL xtras. Very davey graham and a little bit spooky. I would love a collection of simple solo instrumental acoustic explorations exhibiting his celtic & arabic influences. It would be dignified but I'm guessing not very commercially viable.
I thought the second Firm album had some good stuff; he seemed to be heading into some interesting areas with the b-bender Telecaster.
Another fan of Coverdale/Page.
Huge fan of that album, it’s brilliant.
Album wise, he lost me after Presence.
Walking to Clarksdale tour? 98?
Unbelievably good live.
Absolutely killed it.
With the Black Crowes in Milwaukee? (Bummerfest.)
**** those guys.
I did like the stuff with the Firm
For as much as I love Led Zep, I really do not know that Page/Plant record at all. I need to follow up on that one.
1st album was great. Especially ‘Satisfaction Guaranteed’
Radioactive not bad either ....
Some of his best guitar/production work.
his best work is here... just sitting with a smile on his face.
Agreed. For someone who did what he did with Zep, his follow up work has been a huge disappointment.
I think the firm had its moments, it just wasn't LZ
Man, it's like asking what was Van Gogh's best work after his impressionist period.
It’s interesting to note he embarked on that endeavor just after LZ remixes; no doubt his ears and chops were top notch.
The Black Crows Live album is pretty stellar as well and I really regret not seeing their shows at The Greek.
I never knew they tried to tour....
Maybe they didn’t try very hard?
I forgot about this one. I saw the tour. Outrider for sure.
