Mike, you need a Lear Jet, a pilot on "uppers", an unlimited jet fuel and cash supply, and I'd say you can get this all done by the weekend.

I'll meet you at Santa Monica Airport with a Scumbag. Let me know when your flight arrives, OK? Deal? :D

That's funny. I don't need to try all of these, but I'm curious. I was actually in Action Music today, but just stopped in and didn't have time to try anything.

They had an orange AD15, a maz 38 sr. and several old Fenders.

I wish I had the time, but I was already late for work. That would have narrowed the list down a bit.

I don't want to buy all these, I just want to try them. And then maybe buy them.;)

Amazingly, in the last 2 months, I've been able to try a buncha stuff that I've always wanted to check out (Shiva, Maz Senior [R and NR], KT-45 [really the clean side of the 6545], Bivalve, Flexi, Boxer, Mesa MK I RI, Rambler, Maz 38 Invasion).

Out of all of these, I think the Z's are calling my name.

But before I heed that call, I'd like to hear:

    Z-28
    Allen Old Flame
    Fargen Blackbird (again)
    /13 FTR 37

    I'd also like to demo a Z-Best 2x12 cab.

I'm perfectly happy, and really don't think about trying anything at this point, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't if I had the chance.

Though I've seen someone demo the XTC, I'd like to check one out for myself. I'd like to hear a Pritchard 'cause I'd love to get tube-like tone from a solid state amp. I wouldn't mind checking out most of the Bruno line. The Two Rock Jade seems intriguing, too. Checking out a Dumble would be nice to provide a point of reference.

I've been lucky enough to play through lots of fine booteeky amps: Diezel, Fuchs, Bogner, Peters, Koch, and Rivera among others. That said, I feel pretty well set amp-wise. I have amps that cover wonderful cleans, tasty crunch, and all the gain that I want. At the moment, I have other outlets for my GASeous tendences (Driskill on order, recording toys) so I'm not eager to shell out $$$ for amps.

At some point, I'd like to try out:

    Dr. Z Z-28
    `63 Brown Vibroverb

But there's no hurry. My Vibro-King is keeping me very happy.

Down to one amp right now. Tom Cat.

Waiting for Randall to finish up the Corsair.

Outside of that I'd like to own a Komet 60 again.

    Nothing else really excites me.

I hate my home setup (Twin Reverb head + Boogie 2 x 12 bottom)

My band rig is just fine for what I need (Bogner Metropolis) but I don't stuff back and forth anymore.

What I want to check out is...

    Fuchs ODS 30
    Dr Z Maz 18
Roccaforte Custom 18 (or Denelle 45 when it actually lives)
    Savage Macht 12
    Aiken Intruder
Straub Cantus 18 ( at some point in the distant future)
    Bruno UG30
    Bruno Pony
    Fargen Mini-Plex

Please send me your amps for a week and I'll send 'em back with a Thank You note.

There are a number of amps I'd like to try, given the opportunity:

    - Marshall 1987, w/ and w/o Splawn mods
    - AC30 HW
    - Bruno Super 100 (latest tweaks)
    - Bruno CT45 (latest tweaks)
    - GDS 100

I don't think I'd really want any of these...but I'd like to hear them.

The only other amp I kinda want right now (already played) is a Mojave Scorpion...I'm in no rush.

I'm very happy with my amps:

    Rivera Jake Studio 1x12 combo
    Rivera Rake 55 non-reverb head
Marshall JCM 800 model 4010 1x12 combo (tweaked to taste)
Shawnee Custom 1x12 cabinet / Eminence Red Fang

With that said I'm interested in trying everything. The problem with this is that this is precisely how I become unhappy

Couldn't be happier here...got an ERT 33 that I'll never part with and a JRT 9/15 on the way. I am done.

The only other amp I'd be interested in hearing is an Alessandro Redbone Special with KT66s.

    peace
