I've been looking at a Maxon stereo chorus 9, but was wondering what else is out there. And if any other pedal blows this one away. There doesn't seem to be tons of information on this particular item. Analogman pops up quite a bit.

I thought a few years back, MXR Stereo Chorus recieved the Editors Pick award from Guitar Player mag. Maybe someone can clear that up?

+1 for the analogman, I have the stereo bi-chorus and it is wonderful in mono, sounds even better in stereo. I find it to be very usable in the majority of settings, although the craziness is in there too. I haven't even considered another chorus since picking it up 2 years ago. Additionally running it at 12v really helps if you run a lot of drives in front of it, pretty good headroom.

I love my old Boss DC-2...it's the best subtle stereo chorus I've had yet...if I wanted something less subtle I'd get a stereo AnalogMan chours.

I think the enclosure for this pedal is a little too small to be usable....

IMHO the best combination of price and performance is the Hardwire CR7... It's a great sounding pedal with many options for chorus type and the all important level control. Can it compete on sound alone with something from PC? I doubt it... but then again it doesn't cost $500!

I have the Redwitch Empress Chorus. Amazing. Stereo and delay time adjustable. Pricey yes, about $300 Used by Andy Summers of Police as well. My endorsement doesn't seem as important now. :(

Check out the link with great demos and interactive features!
