Here's one. Somebody in Henderson, NV, needs to go down Lodgepole Drive, to the corner of Ambusher & Bareback, and snap a photo of the streetsigns.

Theres a road near by (and town) named "Purmort" which translates as "pure death."
One neighborhood for ski vacation houses around Breton Woods have the streets named after Ayn Rand characters.

Others have already mentioned it, but Zzyzx Road was the first one that came to mind for me. It's out in the middle of freaking nowhere on I-15, in the desert between Vegas and L.A.

Not too far from me, there's little country road called Hawg Holler Ln. If'n y'uns hears them hawgs a-hollerin', that's probably where it's-a comin' from.

While house hunting a couple of years ago I looked at a listing on Manning Pass. Yes I live in Indianapolis.

I'm about a half dozen miles from that. My workplace is in the same city as that sign.

What's more, it's only about five miles from the intersection of Woodward and Big Beaver for which I posted a pic.

This is not a street sign, but a warehouse area/store sign
I remember seeing ( mid '70's!) when our Richmond, VA HS soccer team was taking a bus trip to Lynchburg, VA:
    FOAM RUBBER
    APPLY IN REAR

My mom lives in a little village called Briarcliff. There' a Briarcliff St, Briarcliff Rd, and Briarcliff Dr ... all in a village with an irregular street plan and no right-angle intersections.

It may be a tribute to Dali, not quite sure.
