Assuming that you want to enjoy the best tone at your disposal,
What is your #1 Amp for playing at home?

'57 Tweed Deluxe Reissue - it can't play really quiet (no sound at all until you hit '3' on the volume knob) but even my wife loves how it sounds, so there are no complaints.

If she's asleep or has a migraine I plug into my Cube 60. The Budda sounds too dull if the volume is way low.

Carmen Ghia head mostly through 1x12 celestion 30 open back - sometimes through one of my 2x12 cabs.

Also play through a Roland cube 60 alot at home.

I have a handwired point to point PODxt with NOS tubes that I practice at night/home with.

Seriously, I get great cranked tones with a nice pair of studio headphones. Considering I have an 8 month old sleeping in the next room, I am grateful to even have the chance to play at home.

That, or I use acoustic guitar/piano to brainstorm new songwriting ideas.

I use my amps for live/rehearsal use mainly.

If I do fire up an amp for home use, I'll generally use my Blue Angel 1x12 with a RAT pedal for fuzz.

Luckily for me both my Guytron GT100 (extra slaved output stage) and Suhr Badger (power scaling) were designed to sound great at all volume levels.

So they both sound great at home :)
