... to learn certain style, technique, riff, harmony..?

as a guitarist is difficult to master all right hand technique or other stuff.

how you cut through learning and keep you satisfied with your overall level?

Taking an honest look at where I am--and where I could be--provides the necessary motivation. I'm pleased with what I've accomplished, but I'm sure I'll never be satisfied--the mountain is just too tall!

There are so many great artists out there that provide inspiration that I have little trouble keeping myself driven to explore new things. I'm indebted to them for that.

Jimmi Hendrix, Randy Rhoads, etc.... on youtube. Plus, seeing myself getting better at playing also motivates me. There is a hope for me yet! :)

A purty girl shakin' her derrière in your face is a strong motivator.
