Mine too. It's also my favorite album so I wonder if that has something to do with it. I like System Of A Down's debut album cover a lot too.

Probably not my all time favourite cover but it's pretty badass in that she genuinely had the album title tattooed on her chest for the album cover...

I always like the Allman Bros. At Fillmore East cover - they just look like they're happy to be making music. Helps that the record is good, too.

So many great covers that I used to stare at, pick apart the meaning while listening to the albums.

Most of my favorites had covers by Hipgnosis

I love Roger Dean's cover (and Roger Dean inspired covers):

Prefuse 73, "Everything She Touched Turned Ampexian", cover Art by Dan McPharlin

Sleep, "Dopesmoker", cover art by Arik Roper:

It's not so important now, with little screen images on the internet; but in the days of the record store album cover art had to grab your attention in about 1.5 seconds for further interest to be generated. Here is one that is effective, followed by some "runner ups":

Half this thread looks like what a 16 year old with a little skill would draw on the back of a notebook in 1986.
I'm not sure if this is a joke thread or not... I think half poster are under that impression?

Or they like the music enough to just overlook the cringe covers?

Thanks to all who have shared so far! Lots of great choices!

    Not a joke thread.
    Context is everything.
Yes, sometimes a unique cover becomes special because of our association with the music, but there are covers I appreciate for the artistic perspective and don’t necessarily love the music.

I was surprised to learn that was from a snapshot taken by Miles.
