Cornish LD-1 Buffer -> Klon KTR Overdrive -> Maxon AD-999 Analog Delay -> TC Electronics Ditto X2 Looper -> Sonic Research ST-2 Tuner.

    Pretty simple, no?

If I disassembled my giant studio board, I could get away with Tuner, EQD Palisades, Friedman BEOD, Boss MD500, Stymon Timeline, and Stymon BlueSky.

And now I'm debating putting my Pedal Train Pro, and a bunch of unused pedals and power supplies up for sale, and getting down to a much more travel friendly wet/dry set up... damn it Gear Page, look what you have done to me.

Mas minimalist. Room for expansion but that rarely works out well.

Lots of good looking boards with the right stuff in here.

I am surprised not to see more Pedal Tuners as a default pedal though. I guess there's lots of headstock tuners out there?

IME the key to a good small board is restricting yourself to 2 dirt pedals (max) and 1 modulation effect.

I can never resist the temptation to add 1 more fuzz/light OD/med OD/med-light OD/distortion/boost and pretty soon I'm back up to 8 pedals which only leads to more chances for something to go wrong...

I'm with ya. Actually, for me one dirt is optimal. It's adding that second dirt that seems to create problems.

My comp>boost>dirt>delay setup into a clean-is amp is really just virtualizing a cranked amp. The comp+dirt gives me the base sound with the correct compression profile. Guitar volume and tone controls give me all the various shades I need. I set the boost very modestly (probably around 3-4db) and rarely use it. It's more of a security blanket.

With my setup it's crucial that dirt pedals (if I use more than one) have comparable levels of compression, otherwise the guitar volume/tone thing just goes off the rails for me.

I do use a headstock tuner but I take it off once I'm tuned. I hate to see those things hanging off necks during a song.

Tuner does not count right ?!
Worst case scenario if I need to be smaller, I can only take : Polytune 3 > Cali76 > King of Tone > Double Moon > Volante... BOOM 5 pedals, buffer in and out so I’m feeling with my OCD

My Nano board - and the one i use most has evolved a fair bit but now "stabilised"

    Tremonti wah (off board, 'natch)
    > Xotic AC+[for separate light and mid crunch]
    > Xotic SP[for scream]
    > Xotic EP Boost[guess what that does...]
    > TC Corona mini[chorus and trem duties with a tweak of the speed knob]
    > Belle Epoch [IMO nicest sounding echo out there after I tried them all]

Head stock tuner to piss off any TGPers stood at the back :p

Thanks, I call it my "Space" board but not because of the space inspired names and artwork of these pedals but because its my smallest board that saves on "space." Ah, whom I kidding...I'm a closet astronaut right out of the 60s Apollo Space Program era!

I'm building a Temple Solo18 right now (just ordered the board+parts) with an MXR M300 Reverb, BOSS DD-200, @pickdropper Chorus, Klone, and TS-style mini, and then an MXR Phase 95. Probably will add a @pickdropper mini fuzz too.
