It's a Harmony, not sure which kind: nice tone!
A heavily modified Harmony. Check out the back side of it. I believe he used without the back even on it.
He did play it without the back for years. J.J. Cale is one of the best ever IMO.
Its a Harmony Sovereign acoustic that had a homemade cutaway.
Looks like one or more string bending mechanisms in there?
The turnbuckles? Pretty sure those are just in there to hold the thing together.
The instrument sort of personifies the artist
Very recognizable tone; as distinct and familiar as his voice.
