What kind of humbuckers did/do they install in Japanese Tokai LPs or 335s?

    ...like what brand, power rating, etc.

    Are the stock Tokai humbuckers any good tone-wise or are they kinda meh?

    I know they used Gotoh quite often.

    I think they sound pretty good and buchla300 is correct a lot of them are Gotoh (especially the Tokais).

    I have a LS100Q and I believe the stock pups are Tokai Mark II PAF's.
    The stock pups are a little too sterile IMHO, swapped them with Antiquities...
