    Hey,

I see some of your racks have really nice and adequate lighting in dark places. Which type do you use and how is it mounted and powered?

    Thanks

Wow, never thought of that. What a great idea!
I might get some for my small gator case that holds my digital mixer.

You can pick it up from any hardware store.

I actually had a battery (2xAAA) stick on LED closet light handy that I hard wired a wall wart into then secured it to the inside top of the cabinet.

I then plugged the wall wart into my switch panel and voila light when I need it... all for three buckazoids.

Can these LED strips and their power supplies introduce noise in a rack?

Yes, as far as I know most used switched type power supplies which can introduce noise

i've been using LED strips all over my board and my rack for a long time, and have never experienced any noise. That said, i keep a pretty simple chain. guitar-freqout-helix-behringer EQ-poweramp.
