Will Floyd Money back out at the last minute? Will the Pac Man lose cause he's no longer on the "juice"? Who does "Fat Tony" say to bet on? I can't believe no one's asking these questions on tgp?

Mayweather has been tried and convicted of beating a woman with his fists FIVE times. Any other sport with a thread of credibility would have kicked him out a LONG time ago. Boxing is a barbaric sport built on nothing but greed.

I think Fairweather did his usual- waited for the smaller opponent to age and decline before fighting him.

Manny is not the fighter that would have beaten Fairweather a few years back.

The younger, larger man will win.

Of the century - so far. Boxing isn't what it used to be.

From what I heard, the contract agreement is severely in favor of Mayweather ; 60%/40% for the profits, Mayweather gets to choose his corner, his resting area, all of his accommodations, etc.

It also apparently costs 100K to get a ticket and you need a 250K account with the casino to get a ticket. Nuts.

Only 2015 and it might be the fight of the century because boxing is crooked sport in a state of decline. This fight is 5 years too late. I agree with fredgarvin on this one.

    Agreed.

Have little to no interest in the fight due to the above, and the fact Mayweather is a @ss#$@% who beats on women.

It's studio wrestling- all winners no losers except those that pay to watch.

This. In addition to the other stuff, of course. Although boxers have never been choirboys.

Right and other professional sports are all about sharing and caring and smelling flowers while holding hands and singing dirges.

Mayweather is a free man and last time I checked people who are freed by the judicial system are free to pursue a career.

There are no other sports that I know of who kick players out of their leagues for spousal abuse. I know its assumed that they do, but I cant recall a single instance. If Ray Rice could still win games as a RB he would be on a roster, Adrian Peterson (the guy who beat his kid to bloody welts with a stick) will be on a team this year, guaranteed.

I'm surprised everyone doesn't state this, exactly.
At least MMA isn't boring, and you know the "athletes" are juiced.

And the public is free not to follow that career, hence why there was no thread, nobody cares. That kind of behavior puts most people off.
