wellllll I decided to build a smaller home/acoustic board for whenever in the distant future it is that we start playing live music again, and bought

- a Strymon Iridium
- a Source Audio Collider
- a Mojo Hand Rook (in the mail)
- DD7 (bought and sold)
- RV5 (bought and sold)

writing that out sounds like a lot for only being 6 weeks into this year...
just adding to my list, I also bought an SA Kingmaker and a Pinstripe DISO+. Kingmaker is covering a middy clean boost, a ts808 sound, a klon sound, and a fuzzface for my into my Pt15. DISO is an impressive little box too. There’s some legit mojo in that thing, even if it is just a di box
Add a(nother) Suhr eclipse to my list. And a cheapo mini tuner off Amazon, the tiny tune or something like that. Surprisingly decent for $30
Sigh. The lead boost spot on my main rig has become a bit of a revolving door. Had an SA Kingmaker for that with a bunch of different sounds and sold it to put my mojo hand rook in that spot.

the Rook is awesome. It sounds so good and it fits seamlessly in my rig. But that’s the problem. It fits too seamlessly and doesn’t pop out for lead lines like I want. So I bought an archer and have a spark incoming to see if either of those will do what I want, and the Rook is outgoing. Sigh.
Welllll I kinda went off the rails lately so in order for 2021 based on my own messages quoted above here’s the updated list( asterisks are what I still have):

- strymon iridium*
- dd7
- rv5
- source audio collider
- mojo hand rook
- source audio kingmaker
- pinstripe DISO+*
- Suhr eclipse
- Kliq tiny tune tuner*
- Mosky Silver Horse
- J Rockett Archer
- TC Spark
- TS mini
- MP Little Green Wonder
- Wampler Clarksdale
- Source Audio EQ2*
- EHX Micro Pog*

plus an Ojai and a new board.*

Oops.

The Barber DD/DC and it kicks azz! It’s my 1st Barber pedal and I’m impressed.
Also I got an older version of a Fulltone FullDrive 2. That’s a great pedal too. But only slightly different than the new ones.

Gamechanger Light Pedal (ordered last year).
Soma Labs Cosmos. Selling my Blooper w/ only 10 minutes on it now because of the Cosmos.
Koll High-Rise (was a gift. Does that count?)
EHX 22500
EHX 45000
Mostly been buying guitars...
How's that Cosmos working out? I'm trying to get one in the next drop.

So far just a Fulltone '70 and a Cioks DC7 power supply. But I have plans for a few more before the year ends…we’ll see how it goes. But the plan is to pick up:
- Eventide Space
- Strymon Dig
- Another fuzz (undecided at the moment)
- A flanger, either classic MXR grey box or the Source Audio Mercury.
- SA C4 guitar synth. This thing looks awesomely fun!

oooof, list is getting longer:

mask audio electronics maybe?
death by audio apocalypse
eventide rose
boss tb-2 waza
gamechanger audio light pedal

on the way:

warm audio foxy tone box
keeley d&m drive

|tjk
add:

supro tremolo
supro chorus

beyond impressed with both of these, permanent spots on the board for sure - they take up so little room + sound/function exactly how i was hoping they would

also, i am coaxing the craziest blooming saxophone squalls + screeches out of the mae maybe? - just killer for horn tones

the eventide rose is my end of chain delay and i really couldn't be more thrilled, the analog filter and modulation sound incredible, best reverse delay i've owned and with the 50sec delay time plus speed multipliers, it is a boon for sos/frippertronic looping

been a good year for pedal purchases

I keep losing track of this.

Pedals in:
  • Dunlop Rotovibe
  • Barber Compact Burn Unit
  • Barber Tone Pump
  • Mission Engineering expression pedal w/a toe switch
  • Maxon SD-9
  • Dunlop Mini-volume
  • Lovepedal Amp 11
  • Lovepedal Tchula
  • GigRig QuarterMaster 4
  • Fairfield Circuitry Barbershop
  • JHS Moonshine V2
  • Wampler Clarksdale V2
  • Ibanez TS-9
  • Analogman Mini Chorus
  • Lovepedal Super Six SRV
  • Lovepedal '60s Reverb
  • Wampler Pinnacle V2
  • Crowther Hot Cake
  • GigRig QuarterMaster 6
  • GigRig QuarterMaster 8
  • Durham Electronics Crazy Horse
  • Barber Exacta
  • Walrus Audio Polychrome Phaser
  • Lovepedal Custom Effects Kalamazoo
  • Pettyjohn Electronics Edge
  • Friedman Golden Pearl Overdrive
  • Origin Effects RevivalDrive Compact
  • Origin Effects RevivalDrive Hot Rod Compact
  • Greer Gorilla Warfare Mk. 2
  • Lovepedal Jubilee
  • Lotus Snowjob Underdrive
  • TC Electronic Ditto+
  • Paul C Timmy V3
  • Gigrig QuarterMaster 4
  • Lovepedal JMP 11
  • Lovepedal Valve Reamer: This thing is angry and in your face.
  • Lovepedal Amp 808: This, with the boost engaged and set to low gain, is my new favorite iteration of the TS circuit.
  • Earthquaker Devices Plumes: Second time around with this pedal. I felt like I made a mistake when I sold the first one. If not for the Amp 808, this would be my favorite TS-style pedal, but I feel like this thing is more of it's own thing, TBH.
  • Barber Direct Drive V4: Newer version to replace the one that walked out the door. Selling that thing haunted me.
  • HX Effects: I had one of these a while back but parted with it. Grabbed another for a project just for the modulations.

Pedals out:
  • Catalinbread RAH
  • Mission Engineering expression pedal
  • Greer Sucker Punch
  • Crazy Tube Circuits Falcon
  • Snouse Blackbox 2
  • Morgan 2KT25
  • Maxon SD-9
  • Strymon MultiSwitch (2)
  • Ibanez TS-9
  • JHS Moonshine
  • Lovepedal '60s Reverb
  • Wampler Velvet Fuzz V2
  • Earthquaker Devices Pyramids
  • DSM Humbolt Simplifier
  • J. Rockett Archer Clean
  • JHS Angry Charlie V3
  • Lovepedal Kalamazoo
  • Pettyjohn Electronics Edge
  • Barber Direct Drive V3
  • Wampler Pinnacle V2: I bought this to test out against the Pinnacle Deluxe I already owned to see if it was worth keeping a smaller form. While I don't care for the TS-style boost, I appreciate the deluxe's three-knob tone stack more than the tone-contour combo on the smaller-form box.

Running a bit late on August. Wasn't too bad of a month on the wallet.

Pedals in:
  • Dunlop Rotovibe

  • Origin Effects RevivalDrive Compact
  • Origin Effects RevivalDrive Hot Rod Compact
  • Greer Gorilla Warfare Mk. 2
  • Lovepedal Jubilee
  • Lotus Snowjob Underdrive
  • TC Electronic Ditto+
  • Paul C Timmy V3: Straight from the man himself. I have a V2. I like this one more for low-drive stuff.
  • Gigrig QuarterMaster 4: I'm clearly OCD about having switching options.
  • Lovepedal JMP 11: Loved the Amp 11 so much, I figured why not.

Pedals out:
  • Catalinbread RAH
  • Mission Engineering expression pedal
  • Greer Sucker Punch
  • Crazy Tube Circuits Falcon
  • Snouse Blackbox 2
  • Morgan 2KT25

  • DSM Humbolt Simplifier
  • J. Rockett Archer Clean
  • JHS Angry Charlie V3
  • Lovepedal Kalamazoo
  • Pettyjohn Electronics Edge: Good pedal, but I have a lot of low-gain options ahead of this one on the depth chart.
  • Barber Direct Drive: Hated parting with this one, but room must be made.

REALLY happy with my handful of stuff I've got for my board this year. ALL killer and no filler. Not the least bit dissatisfied with any of them. They all over-delivered.

Greer Lightspeed (such a great low gain rhythm tone....and stacks beautifully with an ODR-1 for leads)
One of the few pedals I own two of -- just that good. Look into the Southland, too.
