The winner! And so early in the thread!

Everything besides Boss, Ibanez and the pedals on Eric Johnson's floor.

    Amen!
TGP is the 'one stop shop' for information on guitars, amps and pedals and gear. There's none better! :dude

I’m aware of most types of pedals through various sites, but TGP has really informed me on different fuzz pedals. As a result, I just bought a PTD Rotobone and wow is it good! :aok

Every pedal I've owned outside of the first few pedals I bought has been a direct result of TGP.

The ones that I bought before TGP:
    Digitech Bass Chorus
    Tech 21 Bass Driver DI
    My brother's Boss DS1
Fulltone OCD (v4 which I didn't have any clue about at the time)
    Tech 21 Boost RVB
    TC Electronic Hall of Fame

I'm not sure I could list out everything I've bought as a result of TGP as it would be a very long list and I don't think anyone would actually want to read through it. Here's what I currently own as a result of it though:

    Barber Compact Direct Drive v3
    Neunaber Seraphim v2 and EXP
    Line 6 HX Stomp
(also own a Darkglass Vintage Microtubes, but that's the result of talkbass.com however)

TGP has been one source of information for most of my pedal purchases, but in terms of solely responsible, that's probably only true of my 3 Spirals. I couldn't be happier with them.

Honestly, most pedals i own or have owned in the past couple years.
    Most importantly:

    • 9-10 spaceman effects
    • Toneczar dove and powerglide
    • Hudson broadcast
    • Kingsley minstrel, jester, jouster, bard
    • Timmy
    • Meris mercury 7
    • Ventris
    • Cali76
    • Strymon deco
    • Walrus julia
    • Jext Telez white pedal and dizzy tone
    • DAM fs-77
    • Many many MANY others

Before the gear page i was playing whatever was in guitar center, and the list is much shorter: ehx, rat, ocd, soul food, t-rex roommate, boss, maybe a JHS here and there. The only gem still on my board is a Mad Professor Deep Blue delay which i found on Amazon about 5 years ago, soon to be replaced by a Dual Blue Delay. Still have the rat around here somewhere.

Before TGP I was a Boss guy, and not much of a pedal guy...

Now my only Boss pedal is a RC-3 Looper

TGP got me into Strymon, Fulltone, Adventure Audio, Smallsound/Bigsound, Source Audio, amongst others

The few that come to mind first (I’ve got one pedal on my board from almost all of these too):

    1) Paul Trombetta Design
    2) Source Audio
    3) Kingsley
    4) Disaster Area Designs
    5) Chellee

It’s been a combination of TGP and TPS that’s caused my pedal drawer to become two.

A short list of pedals that I bought thanks to TGP:
    - 6 SUF fuzzes
    - Boss DD-500
    - Boss MD-500
    - Xotic SP Compressor
    - Xotic SL Drive
    - Wampler Tumnus Deluxe
    - Keeley Compressor
    - Xotic wah
    - Digitech FreQout

So yeah, this place is bad news for my wallet. :hide2

Checking when I joined, I can see that I had decided on getting the Strymon Flint before I joined TGP, so I can feel comfortable that my interest in Strymon products wasn't due to TGP influence. My other most purchased brand is Red Witch, which isn't particular popular here - another one that I would point to outside of TGP for influence.

The only Boss pedal I bought since joining TGP is the SY-300 - the announcement thread here excited me because it essentially was a pedal I was hoping would someday exist. Then the demos came out and were largely bad, kinda putting me off, but I figured I'd still try it. When I finally got a chance to try it, I bought it that day.

The pedal that I can definitely point to TGP as an influence in the purchase is the Carcosa. I also have a gonkulator, but that was influenced more by the Anderton's "buy your mate a rig he'll hate" vid than anything else.

My recent purchase of a moogerfooger low pass filter would be more due to my own explorations than duee to TGP.

    Well, all of them....
Better question for me is what I’ve bought because of That Pedal Show....
Which would be a bunch, in a really good way.

    Digitech DT Whammy
    DOD Gonkulator

There is also a (rapidly) growing list of pedals I’m interested in. You guys are a bad influence!
