i have lollars and LOVE them. however, you can't go wrong with fralin's either. i'd say +1 to either of them

this is how you should look at it...

once you reach a certain tier of the market, almost anything is going to be better than an average stock pickup.

this includes companies such as Lollar, Fralin, SD Antiquity, Fender CS, and so forth. you really can't go wrong with any of them, unless of course, you try to go noiseless and then you're fate is in your own hands.

i like the Fralin Vintage Hots, or the SD Antiquity II's. they are my two favorites. the Anitquity II's are a little more raw, a little more rockin, so to speak and have a hotter bridge pickup. but the Fralins are nice too, just different, a little tamer perhaps, but equally good. right now I'm using the Antiquity II's.

My fav single coil are the Suhr V60LPS

currently i got Tyler custom wound pickups in the neck and middle of mine. I didn't like the fralins i had in my older strat. I'd also recommend...

Dimarzio VV 2.0s. although they're not your typical ones, they sound good
    Seymour Duncan Antiquities
    vintage 60's blackbottoms
    WCR single coils
