What should I do with my "extra" Strat body?

Options for a vintage white Strat body with white or parchment pickups

  1. Rosewood fretboard with white pickguard

  2. Rosewood fretboard with mint green pickguard

  3. Rosewood fretboard with gold anodized pickguard

  4. Maple fretboard with white pickguard

  5. Maple fretboard with mint green pickguard

I ordered a new body for my Strat, meaning that I will soon have a nice body lying around with a tremolo but without a neck and without a pickguard. It's a vintage white. The pickups would have white or parchment covers.
    1. Neck: would you go with a maple or rosewood fretboard?
    2. Pickguard: would you go for mint green, white, or gold anodized?

For the neck, maple is brighter, rosewood is warmer... Pickguard? White for me...

I like contrast,.....If not a tortise pickguard, go with either black pickguard or a mint one.

I voted RW w/ gold. Most of the other choices are far too common or just funky IMO.

You asked, and that's what I would do given those choices.

Let us know what you decide and post pics!
