We are talking about sheer playing time. Which guitar has receive the most playing time of everything you have ever owned?

The first good guitar I bought when I was 16. I don't use it anymore as I have better things, but it's pretty nice anyway, it's a Made in Japan Yamaha 12 string.

Although it shouldn't take a whole lot of thought- I think this has been my main guitar since around 2002-2003.

It's a 2001 R8, I bought it brand spankin' new in Feb 01 from Dave's in LaCrosse.

This has been my main bass. From 1993-97 and from 2006-present. In between there my Jazz bass and G&L were more played, but the T-Bird has gotten the lion's share of time.

It's a 1979 Thunderbird- ostensibly one of 8 in sunburst made that year.

My Squier Strat. #1 for about 10 years back in the mid 90s. Part of it was I couldnt afford much but if it wasnt a solid guitar it would have been gone.

bought an 89' USA Kramer Baretta in 93, had it till 2004, so 11 years was the longest stretch for any guitar I had, and I did use more than anything else in that time.

My Les Paul has been my #1 since I bought it in 2007. I probably plaid 100+ Les Pauls before I found one that was perfect for me, but it's been perfect ever since. I've had quite a few other guitars over the years, but nothing else has taken over that LP.

This was my #1 guitar at home until I decided it was going to be my main guitar for everything 3 years ago.
99% of my playing time is on this guitar!

Might be joining you on the Casino front,

My Coronado was #1 for a long time, but live and studio work demanded something more of reliable. Now I'm finding myself voluntarily leaning towards the Casino over the Coronado

Pretty much another "post your #1" thread. Here is my 1998 R8 I bought new that year.

For me it would have to be an acoustic guitar. My 1997 Taylor 514c has been with me and my #1 acoustic since I bought it in 1999.

If we are talking electric, it would have to be my Gibson SG Standard, which was top of the heap for a long time, but has since become totally devoted to slide. My #1 electric now is my LP Trad Pro when at home, and my G&L ASAT when on project (I pack it in my suitcase).
