    I'm using HD280 Senn's for headphones
JBL 305's for monitors. I have a couple 10" passive subs I use with the JBL's as well.
I have a pair of passive JBL monitors too.

My monitors are JBL J2060's. They are passive and actually pretty decent for a lower end bookshelf speaker. I am contemplating a better solution. I am driving them with a Yamaha 100 watt integrated amp which is actually pretty awesome.

    For monitoring I have 2x Audio Technica M50's, 2x Sony mdr-7506's, 2x Sennheiser HD280's.

Strangely the best sounding set of cans I have are mid size V-moda's designed for portable use. One of these days I'm getting a full size pair.

I have a set of Beyerdynamics DT990's I bought to be my high end cans. They are awful. A profound disappointment. It may be because they are high impedance and not a good match for my amp.

Project Studio 6 monitors and Beyerdynamic DT 880 Pro headphones. I've grown to trust them (took a bit of ear training) and I have to say they haven't failed me yet.

I'm using Dynaudio BM6 monitors (the original model). Really like them although I'm always intrigued by what something different may sound like. Just hasn't been much of a priority to spend money on.

I've struggled to find headphones that work for me. Tried many but just don't like them. The exception is my JH Audio custom in ears that sound fantastic. They better for how much I paid for them!! I very rarely ever use them in my studio though.

Used B2031A's with a big 2092 sub for years.

Switched over to Yami HS8's and then finally to Focal Solo 6's.

    Sony MDR7506 cans.

I have the 305's with an old school powered JBL 12 inch sub... the sub on it's own is kinda spongey
but you set it right and don't expect THX
the low bottom sits right where it should
30 bucks at the Salvation Army in beautiful living room condition
