Hit the jackpot this weekend at a rummage sale. I bought a Peavey Classic 50, Bogner Alchemist and B-52 At212 plus assorted pedals for $300. I am going to be strong and sell two of the amps. Which amp do you think I should hang on to?

    Thanks,
    James

What kind of music do you play? Is it for home, or a band?

I'd keep the Classic 50. I had a guy offer me an Alchemist in exchange for my JCM 900 a few years ago. I tried it out and hated it. I kept the JCM 900 if that tells you anything.

In any case, you've got all three. Why not play them for a while and just keep the one you like best? Unless you'll be loaning the amp out to TGP members, I don't think it really matters what we would do.

I'd keep the Classic 50. I've played the Bogner and was not impressed.

Sell the B-52 before it catches fire.
