What tones are working for guys with HD500 AND DT amps?

Hey, guys! I have an HD500 and DT25 combo. I play a Fat Strat (ash) with a Seymour Duncan Distortion in the bridge and 2 SCN single coils in the middle and neck positions. What's working for you guys tone-wise? I find myself not being the greatest of tweakers. I have such a range of music that I love (I'm a hair band lover at heart), but play in my church's contemporary praise & worship team. Seem to be struggling really getting tones that I love. I know it's user error, as I've heard great things about the HD/DT combination.

Just wondering what the rest of you guys that are a lot better at setting up tones are doing. I tend to run my DT25's Master Volume at about 3pm and adjust my patch volumes with the amp sim's volume control.

I have a strat with a duncan hotrails in the bridge, a hd500 and dt50. I use the Park75 for cleans and dirty so the amp doesn't make the popping noise when changing patches. If not for that, I like the Blackface lux for cleans. I also like the plexi 59.

I would have thought the new Plexi model in the HD500 would have sounded great with my DT25 combo, but I have yet to be able to get anything plausible to use.

You can go to customtone and search for my name and find my DT patches...see if you can tweak them to your liking.Also look for a patch called "lincoln main". I have some versions of it like when recording direct. I don't know how much of a tonal difference there is between the DT50 and 25, but you'll have to adjust to taste. My patches are called something like DTP75 clean 1, DTP75 Dirty 1...if you can't find them pm your e-mail and I'll send them to ya!
