What travel guitars am I missing?

Awesome. What are the similarities/differences between that and the octave guitars you did?

The differences between this and the octave guitars are the overall size and scale length (20.7" scale length for this, and 14.7" for the octaves); the tuning; the octaves are chambered and the travel guitar is not (at least not this one); and the fact that this one has two pickups (and a switch) versus one pickup for the octave guitar. Otherwise, all construction techniques and materials are the same...long neck tenon, Honduras mahogany backs and neck, Eastern maple tops, Brazilian rosewood fingerboards with vintage style cellulose nitrate inlays, etc.

I believe Mark Erlewine designed & built the Chiuquita then later licensed it to Hondo

I had one of the Hohner Steinberger copies a few years back when I was doing some major traveling. Not a bad little guitar for short money.
