What tube is this?

    Hey there- I have pulled three of these babies from my laney.

    They are your standard chinese ecc83. Usually found in mid-nineties marshalls as well as 5150's

    THanks igenus. Yes, it came from my 1987 Marshall. So does that mean it was stock for that time? (Also...does that make it NOS?)

    I do believe so. Actually, that Laney of mine is an '87

    They are very strong tubes similar in characteristics to EH,sovteck but more bite. Not sure if that makes it NOS though, sorry.

    LOL. I'm joking about the NOS. I think it just makes it OLD!

    Actually, these things didnt sound too bad. I figured they were cheap chinese tubes...but as I started testing the against some other tubes...they didnt sound half bad in some applications. They are particularily good in V2 or V3 of a Marshall.

    Looks like a Sino brand from China. Discontinued in the mid '90s.
