Is gretsch really all that different? Would an SG fill a void? A shredder maybe?

Current stable all cheap (under $500 except the Martin):

I agree with Mudder. On the other hand, I am deciding between my next being either an SG or (I know, this choice seems odd) a Danelectro of some kind. I plan to have both and more eventually, but those are my choices right now. I am leaning toward the SG first. :D

I think a RG or and SG would feel happy in that collection.

    Agreed, ban the OP!!! ;-)

You're going to get much of a Gretsch in the $500 price range except may e a used 5120 but it's something to consider. Tele's are a must and demand you be a better player as they're a tough axe to tame but oh the rewards!

    Good luck!

You needs a vintage Guild S-100 or a Bluesbird

There are several budget priced Gretschs currently available but I don't think you would find these all that different.
However, the discontinued G512X series (not the G5120 or G5122) could be interesting. These have DeArmond single coil pickups and would definitely not sound like your other guitars. Not for shredding though. These are very low output pickups.
Of course, any Gretsch proline would be a great addition but these are going to be $1000+ in the used market.

Yeah, SG with P90's rocks, and it looks like it would be a very different tone than the rest of OP's guitars.

You have the whole humbucker tone covered and even your Strat has a stacked bucker in the bridge. I would also say Tele just for the true single coil tone and because they can do almost anything. By the way really nice looking herd as you have a knack for picking out a nice ax.

Your rig is, in fact, screaming out for a Telecaster. Looks like you've got every other base covered in spades. I like that Ibanez hollowbody...
