Hello Y'all

Can someone please get me up to speed on what Weber 10" speakers (vintage & high power models) will fit in the Fender Pro Jr. amp.

Thanks in advance. ..... Damn, I love the Internet!

aren't all 10" speakers the same size? if any were bigger than normal, they would be called 12" speakers, no?

No, some are deeper (go back further into the cabinet) than others.

I know a C10N and P10R (with the magnet cover off) will fit. I've heard that people have put P10Qs in with happy results. /jd

C10N, P10R and P10Q are Jenson speakers. Has anyone used a specific Weber model in their Pro Jr?

10F150=C10N
10A100=P10R
10A125=P10Q
10A150= what would have been a P10N

I have no direct experience with a Pro using these speakers.

Sometimes in small combo cabs the the transformers can hang down enough to bump into the 'basket' of certain speakers. Weber uses two baskets in the 'vintage' models: 'hot dog' style and '6 hole' style. I want to make sure that one or both of these baskets will fit in the Pro Jr.

Example post I would like to see:

Hi Perry, Yea, I put a Weber 10F150 in my Pro Jr last year. The speaker basket has adequate clearance in the back of the cab and now the amp kicks MAJOR BUTT!

Thanks Everyone,
Perry D.

you probably shouldn't be so free to post ted weber's (or anyone else's) email on a message board like that. bots can scan it and you can just end up enabling more spam to get to mr. weber. I suggest posting emails in this format:

ted AT webervst DOT com or something like that.

Yeah, Mr. Weber changed his naming scheme a couple of years back. But I actually have a Weber C10N in my PJ, as I got the speaker before he made the change. My Weber P10R has a new name, but it does fit in the PJ. Anyways, the C10N made it a lot louder, more mid/lower-mid & punch, less sparkle/shrill. I like it better, although it's a bit inconveniently loud now.
