    I'm looking for opinions on the Area 51 vs. the Fulltone Clyde.

    With the Foxrox buffer, the Area 51 seems like a good choice for Fuzz-paired antics, but I'm not sure if the Clyde is buffered against Fuzz? So how to compare?

    I usually like to go:
    Wah=>Fuzz=>Delay(etc)

    So I'm looking for a good wha?

    Ive been looking at an Area 51 too, but check out the Rippah Q. That wah just threw off my whole plan..
    I like the sweep of my red RI Colorsound, but not so much the quality of the quack.
    Reissues always seemed to let me down.
    But yeah, after hearing that Wilson Ripa Q, I dont know what im gonna do.

    Oh and BTW,

    Break it down Camacho!

    I have tried every wah over the years and settled with the Area 51 kit.

    The sound is just right with no frills.

    I put a Retro-Fit into my Clyde. Works like a champ. I've seriously considered putting a drop-in Area 51 in a Vox lately though... :D

    Hahaha - you wanna help fund this little project? I'm trying to save a little cash for some "bigger" toys that my name is waiting to be called on. Ah hell - I'll probably do it anyway. :AOK

    Area 51 is the best I've owned. I haven't heard anything that does vintage wah tones better. A very musical wah. No fuss. It just sounds right.

    I'd go with the Area 51 between those two.
