Exactly right. I've been asking for that for years. I'm about ready to call Gibson again. I want a correct shade thin skin TV Yellow double cut Junior, and a correct wheat color single cut TV Junior. I'd buy both in a heartbeat.

Something is out there that meets three of your four requirements ... says Edwards on the headstock ... :)

Lefties need to learn to play righty, I did. Lefties also look weird.o_O

Should've asked if they'd sell the rights to the brand & for how much. Then we could open a go fund me for Ned. I'd like to hear the response from Gibson after.

Gibson did make them back in the late 80s. They didn't sell.

Hardtail Strats don't sell & are worse than lefties. Just do what John Mayer & EC do, deck the vintage trem. Just sayin'.

Fancy tops would raise the costs for the HM & I'd rather they focus on build quality. I just want an American made Fender to compete with Ibanez. Charvel kinda does, but it's still not a full blown Super Strat {ie 24f HSH}. Pro Mods only come as HH & HS. The Govan & Collin models are, but those are Sigs & cost to much. Think an RG Strat with Fender finishes & logo.

To every manufacturers credit & this goes for a lot of the small asks, they cannot satisfy everyone. My intent for the thread was to list something that could sell, not necessarily to ask for a custom. If I did, then I'd have asked for exotic woods, tops, & other pup brands. & TBH, for that money, I'd call Ron Thorn.

    Or Mark Knopfler!;)

    Keep the comments coming! :aok

When Jack White was asked this, he said, "a guitar...with a retractable bullet microphone..." And I was immediately hit with two contrasting feelings:
    • I like the way you think
    • That's just silly
    Me:
    • hardtail/stoptail/non-trem versions of all guitars that are typically offered with a trem (especially strats and PRSses*).
    • more guitars between archtop and ... whatever we called it in that other thread.
I like the way you think -- I am drawn towards unique looking guitars as well -- Parker Fly Deluxe, Yamaha SGV series...And I still want a Black Eagle bass just for the curly horns.

You're right and they are great guitars too! I just haven't found one that was super light yet and had a chance to scoop it up!! Unless you have one you want to part with?

I would like to see electronics for a basic amp sim and Bluetooth out to connect to any Bluetooth speaker, built into the guitar.

You know for just sitting on the couch or some travel.

Maybe with three effects built in controlled via push buttons / knobs?

Those were good guitars. Maybe update it with an original Floyd Rose.

Not a lefty but I understand the difficulties in finding guitars that would have a left-handed equivalent at a reasonable price.

No hate. Just hasn't been my experience. The Les Paul's I've looked at had tuners off kilter, sloppy network, and poor fretwork.

I would like to see Fender offer the roller nut on more models. The thing just worked! Also would be cool to see a reissue of the tele deluxe with lace sensor bucker and single.

They did when they acquired Floyd Rose, but they're rare due to discontiuing them in 91 or 92. But yeah they are & better with a few tweaks.:D

I thought those came with the Kahler Steeler trem after they stopped using the Spyder. The stuff you learn.

    This!
I just returned a Fender Nashville Tele to Sweetwater because the strings were so far to the lower side of the fret board that the low E kept slipping off the edge of the board. Nothing I tried could correct the string alignment. The techs at Sweetwater should have rejected this guitar on that alone. This is now 4 or more times in the last year where I got guitars from them that had electrical problems, etc., and one guitar that was stated as new that looked slightly used, totaling 6 in all.

All I want is a quality built guitar with no faults, so that we don't have to wade through a lot of guitars to find one that suits us.

I like some of the suggestions requested above, but if the guitar is not totally correct, all the improvements mean nothing to me.
