Name that one effect you bought.. That just blew you away.. a must u can't live without.
There are so many out there, and i find people use them for awhile and then trade or sell.
I am still looking for a sound.. I cannot find what i am looking for. I know everybody is different.
I like the heavy not too much distortion, but good low end crunch..

I have been looking at Boss GT-8 GNX4, digitech 2101.. but have now way of trying any out.
I hate spending alot of money and not knowing what i am going to end up with. Not really into sitting there playing with buttons and tweaking.

Just wondering if there is anybody here that would agree on one brand name effect that is a must to have.

    Like for eg TC major

My MXR Micro Amp is indespensable. If there's one pedal I can't live w/out, it's the one that makes it "one louder."

well, besides the fact that i love some effects, there's no one "i cannot live without".
besides the guitar and a small amp, the most important "sound device" i care for are BIG gauge strings. You'll never sound bad with 'em...and they give you plenty of volume and sustain.

hmm an overdrive or booster of some sort. right now I will say my Landgraff DO. But if i ever find a two channel amp i like i would probably say a good delay.

well. gnx4 i would never get rid of. Its a simple 8 track digital recorder, drum machine, mp3 player, mic preamp, mixer, looper. 1 stop shopping. I can go to any gig/practice/jam with a gnx4, powered EV wedge and the GNX4 and blow peoples s**t away every time. And only 1 trip from the car. major amounts of tones to boot. I have 2 piezo equipped axes and can also put that in at the same time. I've had a GT8 and Vox SE. They are all good/great, but none can do all what the gnx4 can do.

+1 on the GNX4 - The perfect machine for my practicing time. I'd never sell mine.

Midiverb 2.. It does a lot of really good things, and it was/is cheap.

my unmodded ts9. It tends to stay on all the time with the guitars volume rolled off a bit.

if the plain one sounds this right, i can't wait to get my hands on a mod.

I can live with no effects if I'm in a two-guitar band. I feel like a little delay stomp here and there fills out the sound when I'm the only guitar.

I like wah and trem too, but can live without either.

Aside from the volume pot on the guitar, my only "must have" is my Addrock Geranium fuzz.

Fantastic for adding that somnthin' special to an already overdriven tone. VERY responsive to volume changes on the guitar.
