Well as the statement says above but,

    -Transparent
    -Touch sensitive
-Would work well stacked with MJM London Fuzz for the Band of Gypsys overdriven tone

I really liked the Hotcake and currently really like the Hotcake Bluesberry.

Very "clear-sounding," if not transparent, though if you turn the gain and presence to zero and set the volume to unity gain, the signal is not altered. I'd start there and then add gain, volume and presence to taste. Great clean boost and it has a good buffer circuit.

Distortion pedal and transparent doesn't make sense to me.

I'd say a modded Bluesdriver (BD-2). I think there are people out there who can mod them for less than the "name" guys, though with the name guys you know what you're getting. You might see if Aramat mods BD-2s. I bought my BD-2 for $40 used and a friend modded it for $30. It became my favorite OD pedal over several other pedals that I paid $120-150 for on the used market.

Barber Small Fry. $150. And when you put 18v into, I don't think there's anything better.

MI Audio for sure, The Blues Pro is very "Transparent" and the Blue Boy Deluxe is an amazing sounding, super tweakable TS type OD.

    Cheers,

I would think the Tim/Timmy would be an outstanding choice at that price level...

Maybe a few bucks above budget (unless you buy used here in the forum); My vote is for the Fulltone OCD. Everything you mentioned in your question by way of characteristics is in my pedal. Note: I have version One. My second recommendation is my second pedal after my OCD and it my MI Audio Crunch Box. It covers everything from Moderate OD tones to very High Gain. Works wonderful with OCD (and the rest of my board).

I haven't tried some of these but in my rig the OCD v2 stacked well with my fuzzes. So far the EMMA Reezafrazitz is the best stacker with all my fuzz pedals and is one of my all around favorite OD pedals. Its capable of a lot of gain but I use it for low gain stuff.

Would a COT 50 into the MJM get that fuzz tone on BOG?

The Tim/Timmy without a doubt. No better transparent, affordable, stackable OD with an amazingly effective EQ on the market.
