I'd like the best guitar, best effects, and best amps too.
Can you recommend what might be the BEST for me ;)?

I'm really looking for the BEST, btw, Good is not good enough here.

    Best regards,

    Eddie

Well, it's not that easy Eddie. You're going to have to do your own research in order to find out what features are important to you. We can't tell you, it's all subjective. We have all been on the hunt for the "best" for us for years, decades even.

All I can say is start reading.

Cornish effects are some of the best out there.
    So are BJF.
Analogman makes some of the most highly regarded compressors, choruses, and other effects.
Paul Cochrane makes the Timmy and Tim, amazing overdrive units for a great price.
The Klon is very expensive but highly regarded.
There are tons of great stuff out there, but half the fun is researching it, reading opinions, and then buying it:D What style of music, are you playing and do you have any tones in mind that you want to nail?

They best to ME is a LP with P-90's into a COT and then into a 1965 Super Reverb - I have no idea what the best for YOU might be....

Yeah style of music is going to make a VERY large impact seeing as a heavy medal shredder might want slightly different gear from an acoustic guitar driven country/rock band.

Actually, Electric I, there IS best. I am just not at liberty to tell you what it is at the current time. Once the authorities have released me from my vow of silence, I will tell all.

I'll bite just in case beginners with CASH are hoping to find something with this thread.

Best OD/Dist I have tried is the StageHog -in terms of a versatilty, note definition, crunch, lead tone, light break up to soldano gain.
Best Analog Delay I have tried the AD-999, my fav at the moment.
Best Wah, RMC wah's IMO are all the best you can get out there.
Best Guitars IMO, not including ANY vintage stuff, Musicmans, G and L guitars, higher end LP, SG's
Best Pick ups, generic status quo for Blues to Rock IMO, JB seymour duncan or the 59 or Gbson 500t.
Best High end -not including vintage pups, blues to Rock pickups IMO, Seymour Antiquity pickups or the EVH 78 custom shop.
Best speaker cable, thanks to GEARPAGE, I found mulder Audio cables, ....KILLER!
Best Amps, Obviously if you CAN find or AFFORD a decent one, Dumbles, or vintage plexi's. Current best amps of low to mid gain, IMO, Bruno, Fuchs, Dr Z, Stephenson amps, Mad Professor, London Power, Komet amps, Orange, ptp custom shop Fender, or Gibson amps are ok, too. Best High gain amps, IMO, first version 5150 100 watt, Soldano, Mesa Mark IV ( sorry guys that is all I know about mesa), Bogner, Wizard, Emplexador, VHT, JSX (does sound good, really). That is all until I have time think of a lot more, I am sure.

Uhmmm..... There's this guitar maker called Daisy Rock, they're really booteek!! Then this one company builds this all in one that makes Pete Cornish's stuff look weak... I think they're called Berhinger. Oh and the amp of amps, at least in combo form is the Gorilla..... Mix those 3 beauties together = TONE HEAVEN!! :AOK
