What's the deal with this Celestion G12 Heritage?

This speaker and its mate came stock in a Marshall JTMC 1922 2x12 cab. They are 70 watt speakers. I can't find too much info, and what there are in the current lineup of Celestions aren't the same. Anyone know about them? They seem to sound pretty OK with Marshall DSL40 and Mesa Rectoverb 25. But, the Creamback in the DSL may be better. Is it worth it to replace the pair? Any experience with the Creambacks/Mesa combination ? I like the smaller cab.

had one in a 1x12 jtm cab. it was pretty flat/dull sounding but the cab was mdf iirc. never tried it in anything else before selling.
i email'd celestion and they gave me the "proprietary" bs.

These "Heritage" models from the 90's were low-budget speakers Celestion made for Marshall for their lower-end amp lines such as the JTM30/60 and JCM600 series. They were made years before Celestion started labeling their higher-end British-made speakers (vs. Chinese) as "Heritage" models.
