I would hardly call it the "definitive" track for display of delay and chorus, but "crumbs from the table" is great. Not only does it show off delay and chorus, but it shows of that famous vox chime!

My vote is for "Where the streets have no name". I think the song really captures U2's sound and has a very recognizable riff. But i also like "Bad" a lot too.

Edge doesnt use the Chorus as an individual effect its all mod delay!

I would have to say the following three songs prob instantly recogniseable and are songs you cant play without delay as the delay does half the work!!!

    Streets
    Pride
    WOWY

    Bad.

Others are good, but that track's just plain definitive.

A lot of good ones but "Streets" is the one.

Its so recognizable that even non-guitar players know it but the "delay" riff.

Crumbs is one of my favs from HTDAAB. Wish they'd released it as a single.

In sort of related news their new album is supposedly going to be released November 18th.

We did an acoustic version of "Crumbs from your table" at church last year. I thought the song would suffer without the instrumentation, but it came out great. The lyrics and vocal line are amazing.

Love the tone and the tune. Perfect example of what a dirty vox rhythm tone is all about.

    Also:

I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For
    With or Without You

these songs done by people on youtube must be selling a lot of axe-fx's.

I read an interview with Dallas Schoo, who said that Edge was using the Fender Deluxes for that song.

    I thought, what?!!
But after borrowing a 60's one from my uncle, I can see it.

How about some early stuff people!! By Unforgettable Fire he was hardly using DMM's. Day Without Me, I Threw a Brick Through a Window, Fire, An Cat Dubh, Twilight, Electric Co., etc.- THESE are the definitive ones IMO.
